❓ Why FAQs are useful
Before contacting you, customers have the same doubts: how much, how long, what if it does not work. If the answer is on the page, they do not have to call, and you do not lose those who do not like to ask. Search is also increasingly in the form of questions, both on Google and in AI assistants.
🎯 How to choose questions
- Pick out the questions clients actually ask you.
- Look at "People also ask" for your topic.
- Add questions about price, deadline and way of working, because they hold the decision.
- Avoid invented questions nobody asks.
✍️ How to write answers
- The first sentence is the answer. Details come after.
- Two to four sentences are usually enough.
- Concrete, without marketing noise. "Usually 7 to 14 working days" beats "quickly".
- A link to the page where the topic is explained more broadly.

🧩 FAQ schema (structured data)
Questions and answers can be marked with FAQPage schema, which tells the search engine plainly what is the question and what is the answer. The content in the markup must also be visible on the page. In recent years Google has limited FAQ rich results for most sites, but the markup still helps understanding, and cleanly formatted answers also suit AI answers. More in the article on schema markup.

🚫 Mistakes
- Questions that are only advertising.
- Over-long answers unreadable on a phone.
- The same FAQ copied onto every page.
- Marked-up questions that are not visible on the page.
Our pages have an FAQ at the end of every topic for exactly these reasons. For help with content see SEO optimisation.
