💶 Why there is no single price
Asking "how much does a website cost" is like asking "how much does a car cost". It depends on what you need. A five-page business card site and an online store with a thousand products are very different projects, even though we call both "a website".
For small businesses there are realistically three levels: a one-page landing page, a brochure site of 5 to 10 pages, and a larger site with a blog or an online store. You will find indicative ranges on the website cost page; here we explain what moves them.
🧮 Six things that raise or lower the price
- Number and complexity of pages. Every page needs copy, design and testing.
- Custom design or an adapted base. Original costs more, but does not look like everyone else's.
- Features. Forms, bookings, calculators, user accounts and integrations.
- Languages. Each language means translation, separate URLs and checks.
- SEO and copywriting. Often missing from cheap quotes, yet it is what brings visitors.
- Deadline. Urgent projects cost more.
🧾 Costs outside the development price
A domain is paid yearly, hosting monthly or yearly, and maintenance and SEO are separate items if you want them. Some plugins and tools have licences. Ask in advance what is one-off and what recurs. More in our text on hosting and domain.

🧠 How to spend wisely
- Define one goal for the site: a call, a booking or an order.
- Start with what you need now and add features later.
- Prepare texts and photos in advance.
- Ask for a written quote with scope and deadline.
- If you need just one service or campaign, consider a landing page.
