📲 Why Viber and WhatsApp
A call takes time and readiness. A message is sent in a moment, can include a photo and a document, and does not require you to talk right away. For small businesses that means more enquiries, especially from people who are only researching.
🧱 Where the button goes
- At the top of the page, next to the menu.
- On the first screen within the main message.
- At the end of each section that offers something, as a natural next step.
- A floating button in the bottom right corner, always within reach. On our site these are WhatsApp, Viber and a back-to-top button.
- On the contact page together with the form and e-mail.
✍️ Text that works
Instead of "Send", write what is gained: "Send a message for a free estimate", "Book a check-up", "Ask for a quote". A verb and a benefit in the same sentence.

🔗 A prefilled message
WhatsApp allows the message text to be prefilled (for example: "Hello, I am interested in website development."). That makes the first step easier and marks the source of the enquiry in advance. Viber opens a conversation with your number.
🧪 Design rules
- Big enough for a finger, with enough spacing.
- Recognisable platform colours and icons.
- Contrast that shows on all backgrounds.
- It does not cover content, especially on a phone.
- A clear label for screen readers (
aria-label).

📈 Measuring
Track clicks on every button and the number of enquiries from different pages. If one page brings many visits but few enquiries, the problem is the message or call to action, not the ranking.
⚖️ Privacy
Messages through third-party apps are subject to their rules, and you should state in your privacy policy how you handle data from enquiries. Also read about a landing page that converts and our approach to website development.
